I'm AJ Thomsen, Senior Program Director for Membership and Aquatics at the Thelma Lovette YMCA in Pittsburgh's Historic Hill District. 

As a nonprofit, the Y does awesome things, like providing discounted memberships so families can pursue healthy living, subsidizing important life programs such as swim lessons and swim team, nurturing children in after-school care, and organizing supportive services for the most vulnerable members of our community.
