Working at Thelma has allowed me to take a step further towards my personal goal of being a resource and reference in a community that represents those like my myself. I've known most of my life, my passion for fitness would be a tool I used to serve. My initial goal was to serve a community of woman like myself, providing an example of what health looks like, as well as curating programs / opportunities for that community to thrive. I've since had the pleasure to lead a much more diverse group of people , reaching beyond every expectation I've had for myself. After a courageous decision to step into the Health field , I landed here at Thelma. I fell in love with the community and have since been apart of several events/ programs such as: 1. Thursday Nights At the Y 2. Wellness Weekend 5k Warm up 3. Great Race Warmup. 4.Mom Circle Nights 5. Macedonia Face Senior Center 6. American Heart Assoc. 7. Our weekly Classes offered! and many more to come! I look forward to further expand our reach in the community building new bridges and partnerships! I am grateful to have the ability to provide the community with resources . I am appreciative to work with an amazing Training staff. I look forward to our future, building new connections and meaningful relationships.
