Dear Friends:

As new arrivals to Pittsburgh, the Y gave us a place to make friends and build community. As busy, young parents, the Y gave our children safe, quality childcare. As the children grew, we turned to the Y for swimming, summer camp, volunteer activities and eventually their first jobs. As my parents aged, the Y helped keep my parents connected and independent. THE Y HAS BEEN AN ESSENTIAL PARTNER FOR EVERY STAGE OF MY LIFE. Few organizations do as much as the Y to build and support healthy communities. Please join me this Giving Tuesday and help me reach my fundraising goal of $500 for the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh so everyone, regardless of their personal finances, has access to Y programs and services. 

AND JUST TO MAKE THINGS FUN -- for each gift of $100 or more received before midnight on Tuesday, November 28th, I will knit the donor a custom beanie -- or swim 5 laps of the Baierl pool -- YOUR CHOICE!
