I have been with the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh for nearly two years, and they have been among the most rewarding years of my life. I spent my first year and a half at the Thelma Lovette YMCA as an Aquatics Coordinator, and recently moved to the Association Office as the Marketing and Communication Specialist. During my time at The Y, it has become crystal clear why The Y has been a pillar in the Pittsburgh community for over 100 years. Our mission is to serve our community, and to ensure that EVERYONE who walks through our doors is welcome and able to be a part of our community, regardless of their ability to pay. This year, thousands of children from around the greater Pittsburgh area will attend our YMCA summer camp programs, and every penny raised from The Y Day of Giving will help a family or child in need.
