Let's see RENT the musical together at Asheville Community Theatre on February 12th! Rent is a rock musical that follows the life of struggling artists in New York during the AIDS epidemic, touching on topics of gentrification, addiction, and finding meaning in life and creating art, despite living in a world full of tragedy.

Youth OUTright recognizes the political importance of these kind of messages especially in the climate we're living right now and wanted to offer the opportunity for YO youth to see this musical together as a community. This musical contains difficult topics and is recommended for Youth 13+ but ultimately is up to the parents discretion.

This is not a Youth OUTright program, however youth outright staff will be present and distributing tickets that were pre-bought.

Drop Off/Pick Up Info:

Youth will be dropped off/meet at Asheville Community Theatre at 7:00pm where they can meet with a YO staff member in the lobby and obtain a ticket before the show starts at 7:30pm.

Youth will be picked up at 10:00pm (this is an estimate based on run-time and intermission) after the musical is over at the same location, staff will wait with them until they are picked up.
