TransYOUniting is a Black trans-led nonprofit based in Pittsburgh working to keep the TLGBQIA+ community safe, housed, and supported. Four years ago, we opened the QMNTY “Community” Center — a vital part of the QMNTY Continuum that also includes the YOUr Haven Shelter and the QMNTY Closet. Together, these programs create safety, housing, and access to care for people who have been ignored or pushed out by traditional systems.

This year, as we celebrate the Center’s fourth anniversary, we are raising funds to sustain our life-saving work and expand our reach with a new standalone QMNTY Pantry opening in 2026.

Our work has never been more urgent. Trans people are being targeted through legislation, denied access to care, and forced to fight for the right to simply exist. Yet every day, TransYOUniting continues to provide housing, food, transportation, and community support to those who need it most. Every day, we face political attacks that strip away healthcare, safety, and dignity. Trans youth are being bullied and denied care. Black trans women continue to be murdered at alarming rates. And trans-led organizations like ours are being defunded, even as our people are fighting to stay alive.
