The Pine Hollow Arboretum is looking to fundraise so we may purchase a new wood chipper for the arboretum. The Arboretum is hoping to purchase the DR XL501.

Although tree work is always constant at the Arboretum, it has been accelerated by the effects of climate change and the end of the life cycle of our 150+ year old eastern white pines. Now more than ever, we need a chipper/shredder to help alleviate some of the cost of having a tree service come to chip our green waste. Although it will not be able to handle all of the tree debris, it will help us eradicate vines and other small piles littered throughout the arboretum, which draw away from the beauty of the arboretum.
