Hi, my name is Charles McFarland, my friends call me Chuck. The mountains made a significant impact on my life and now I would like to try and return the favor.

I am trying to build a very unique and potentially very impactful conservation tool that I call SHED HAPPENS. This tool utilizes AI and technology to collect and compile data on antlers and the species that carry them. With hopes of making an impact on this thing we call conservation.

Every year millions of outdoor enthusiasts hit the mountains in search of shed antlers or big game, but other than social media posts, not much information is ever captured. So that is why we have created a very unique patent pending application that allows us to collect information on the antlers through the lens of a cell phone on a massive scale.

I’m a full-time Dad, Husband, and project manager at a heavy industrial mining construction company. I have donated every spare dime and every possible second to building this dream over the past 2 years. But now I'm asking for help from our fellow outdoorsmen and outdoor enthusiasts to continue on our journey. All donations will be 100% used for our AI training/testing and user interface upgrades.
