It’s dangerously hot 🥵 and our AC is on the fritz. We urgently need to replace it to keep YWCA Elgin a safe, cool space for the children, women, and families we serve. Every share and every dollar helps. 💛

👉 Donate or share to help YWCA Elgin raise $3,000 to replace our A/C compressors so we can keep serving our community. Any donations raised above this amount will be placed in our building maintenance fund to prevent future crises.

At YWCA Elgin, we proudly serve hundreds of families, women, and children across our community each year.

✨ We provide safe, affordable before- and after-school care so parents can work knowing their children are cared for and learning.

✨ We offer summer camps and teen enrichment programs to keep kids engaged and connected.

✨ We run ESL classes, family literacy programs, and citizenship assistance, empowering immigrants and families with tools to thrive.

✨ We host “Know Your Rights” trainings, financial literacy, and computer classes to build skills and independence.

✨ We provide prom dresses and clothing assistance for families in need.

✨ We advocate for racial justice, gender equity, and immigrant rights throughout the Fox Valley.

We are a hub of hope, dignity, and safety for so many in our community.

But right now, we’re facing an unexpected crisis.

Our air conditioning compressors are about to fail, right in the middle of this extreme summer heat. Replacing them will cost about $3,000, and we urgently need your help to keep our building safe and cool for those who rely on us.
