4th Grade Recorders for Music Class

Families of 4th graders at GRCDC,
It is with great excitement that I can share with you that we have begun playing recorders! The process of learning to play an instrument by rote and through reading music is such a rewarding task, and something I am passionate about teaching your students.

The 5th graders have the recorders stored at school. Over the summer, I will keep their recorders so that we can continue playing them over in the winter of 2027. Since the recorders will be owned by the students, we are asking families to pay $3 for part of the recorder, and the school will cover the rest of the fees. Ms. Nuyens has created a Give Butter campaign so you can pay directly to the
