Typhoon Yagi, the most powerful storm to strike Northern Vietnam in the last 30 years, has left widespread devastation. Families have lost their homes, crops, and livelihoods, and many communities remain cut off due to severe flooding and landslides. With heavy rains continuing, the situation is still critical.

Thanks to your generous contributions, HSCV is on the ground, delivering essential relief to those most in need. Our team, in collaboration with local partners, has been distributing emergency supplies such as food, clean water, hygiene kits, and other critical items to families in isolated areas.

Here are some highlights of our relief efforts so far:

In Phu Tho Province, once the heavy rains subsided, we reached families in remote areas with essential supplies, thanks to the tireless efforts of our local partners.
In Ba Vi, we’ve deployed military boats to deliver aid to families trapped by floodwaters, ensuring they have the necessary food, hygiene products, and supplies to stay safe.
In Lao Cai, we’ve provided food, blankets, hygiene items, and shoes to 6 schools, benefiting over 600 students and their families.

While we have made significant progress, the journey to recovery is far from over. Beyond the immediate relief phase, we are committed to helping families rebuild their homes and livelihoods.
