If you are local here in Fayette County, WV, you may already be familiar with us here at New River Animal Rescue. Or you might not realize that you recognize us. We were formerly known in the community as New River Humane Society. In November of 2022 we had some changes that occurred within our organization and are now operating as New River Animal Rescue.

We are hoping to do something special for our animals here at the rescue and the families from the community this holiday season. We are hoping to empty the rescue and find all of our animals their furever homes! But we need your support to make this happen. Your donation will help cover the adoption fees for our rescue animals which will result in a fully sponsored adoption fee or reduced adoption fee...all of which results in helping to find our rescue animals their furever homes this holiday season. Whether you donate $1, $5, $10 or $500 every penny helps! We remain grateful for all of our supporters.
