At the Grand Rapids Public Schools Foundation, we believe every student deserves moments like this—moments that spark creativity, build self-worth, and open doors to possibility. That’s why we created the Mini Grant Program, which gives teachers and principals the resources they need to bring learning to life in and beyond the classroom.

This year, we’re aiming to raise $100,000 to fund innovative, hands-on learning experiences for GRPS students—and we need your help.

$75 purchases sheet music for 25 students, helping them find their rhythm and voice.

$150 provides art supplies for two classrooms, inspiring imagination and self-expression.

$300 purchases new uniforms for a sports team, building confidence, pride, and teamwork.

$500 funds a teacher mini grant, turning creative classroom ideas into meaningful experiences.

$1,000 sends 100 students on a field trip, opening their eyes to new worlds beyond the classroom.

$2,000 funds a principal grant, helping schools spark curiosity and belonging across entire student bodies

Every dollar you give helps ensure that students—from the stage to the science lab to the sports fields—have access to the opportunities that help them thrive.
