Vincent’s Surgery Fund

When we saved Vincent from euthanasia just before Christmas, the social media cat lovers took him into their hearts. Meanwhile, we took him to our vet and we discovered he had a cancer which had invaded his injured ear. Our trip to our specialist surgeon, Dr. Silverman disclosed that the cancer may be more extensive than first thought. After much discussion on the needs of Vincent and his comfort, surgery was scheduled for Mon 27 Jan with hospitalization lasting until Friday 31 Jan. Surgery is not a sure thing and but Vincent passed with flying colors. The cost for the surgery was $12,296.75. We paid this out of our personal funds. Mandarin’s Retreat’s resources can’t cover this, so we seek your help. All funds collected will be used only for Vincent’s care and any funds remaining when care is no longer needed will be used for medical care of other very sick kitties. A trip to the Animal ER pushed Vincent’s medical costs over $21,000. Please give us a hand in covering Vincent’s care. A detailed breakdown of the current surgery costs can be found at Vincent’s Surgery Costs. We can’t cover these costs then we can not help other critically ill or injured kitties.
