-YOGA LIABILITY WAIVER-

By participating in this virtual class, I agree to the following:

1. I am participating in a Yoga Class offered by Jen’s Yoga Zen, Elevate Yoga
Pittsburgh, and Humane Action Pittsburgh during which I will receive
information and instruction about yoga and health. I recognize that yoga
requires physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical
injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.

2. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to
and regarding my participation in any Yoga Class. I represent and warrant
that I am physically fit and I have no medical condition that would prevent my
full participation in the Yoga Class.

3. In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Yoga Class, I agree
to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or
unknown, which might incur as a result of participating in the program.

4. In further consideration of being permitted to participate in the Yoga Class,
I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I may have against
Jen’s Yoga Zen, Elevate Yoga Pittsburgh, and Humane Action Pittsburgh for
injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in the
program.

5. I, my heirs or legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge and
covenant not to sue Jen’s Yoga Zen, Elevate Yoga Pittsburgh, and Humane
Action Pittsburgh for any injury or death caused by their negligence or other
acts.

Humane Action Pittsburgh is working towards a world without animal suffering where all beings are treated with compassion. As such, this fundraiser will help us fund our three 2021 priority campaigns.

1. Wildlife Education. As you may know, the city of Pittsburgh has one of the most inhumane trapping programs for wildlife in the country. We want to educate the community that trapping is inhumane and doesn't work, and providing humane harassment techniques in an easy and accessible way. We are looking to hire an advertising firm to develop a campaign, assist with identifying the target audience, and create marketing tools.

2. HAP Hive. We want to do our part to help with the crisis facing the world's bee population. A multi-faceted campaign, we are looking for grant money that would support the development of a program led by teenagers to install "bee hotels" in areas that don't see pedestrian foot traffic or are sparsely populated.

3. Reimagine Takeout. With COVID making takeout, and single-use takeout containers, more popular than ever, we want to assist local businesses by covering the cost difference of their current containers with compostables. As such, we would also create educational tools for the restaurants and public on how and where they can compost.
