With the holidays approaching and recent food stamp cuts impacting many families, the need for food assistance is greater than ever. This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and help ensure our neighbors have what they need this season.

Bring non-perishable items to any of our final bowling league nights at Garage (1130 Broadway) from 6:30-9:30 pm

Drop donations in our collection bin near check-in! The food bank has specifically requested these items:

Rice
Beans
Gravy (mix, canned, etc.)
Stuffing mix
Black-eyed peas
Cranberries or cranberry sauce
Canned green beans
Herbs (rosemary, oregano, basil — dried or fresh)
Cornbread mix

We’re aiming to fill a donation tub and raise $1,000. Every contribution, big or small, helps our community thrive.

Please note: participation is completely voluntary - there’s no expectation to donate. We simply wanted to offer this opportunity for anyone interested and able to help.

About Rainier Valley Food Bank

RVFB is the primary emergency food resource for Seattle’s most racially, ethnically, and economically diverse neighborhood and home to many people of color, immigrants, and refugees who regularly face systemic obstacles to living wage employment, affordable housing, and food security. It is home to a wide disparity of living standards where multi-million-dollar homes are down the street from Section Eight housing.
