Band In A Bus, a 501(c)3 organization, aims to help students make some noise! We find that music plays a big part inside, and outside of the band room. On average students who participate in music related programs score higher on standardized tests and develop positive social emotional skills that can point them towards a more creative future. By providing musical instruments, performing arts curriculum, and staffing--we offer a hip, modernized band classroom experience for all!

The Band is a scrappy network of music teachers, volunteers, and rockstar community members who donate musical instruments, provide top-notch performing arts curriculum, and modernized music programs with the goal of bridging the access to the Arts gap affecting students in historically-marginalized communities in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region.

It costs around:

$15 for the Band to provide an engaging music class to a student (kazoos and all!)

$150 for us to provide an experience for a class of 15 students

$1500 for us to provide a music making experience for a classroom year round.
