Trans Joy Akron invites you to join us in 2026 as we continue building community, celebrating trans joy, and supporting one another through changing times. We are a trans-led organization dedicated to creating affirming, community-centered spaces that celebrate trans joy while addressing ongoing needs within Akron’s trans community.

Why Support Trans Joy Akron?  

Trans Joy Akron is already doing the work!

In 2025, we:

• Hosted 14 events serving over 1,100 people

• Worked with 57 community volunteers who contributed more than 2,000 hours to TJA programming

• Collaborated with five Akron-based organizations to host eight partner events 

Financial Support Allows Us to Continue:

• To provide a safe space for attendees to show up as their authentic self.    

• Help grow the next generation of trans leaders with skill developing opportunities.
