I joined the Board of Uptown Stories in June 2023. I was moved by Uptown's mission to provide underserved children in Washington Heights with access to high quality writing classes on a "pay what you can" model. Uptown has been serving the local population since 2014 and continues to thrive in large part to the immense popularity of its classes and generous donors.
