Dublin Youth Brass Band

The Dublin Youth Brass Band course provides a unique opportunity for advanced middle school through university level brass and percussion musicians to experience a traditional British Brass Band. Beginning students can be challenged with secondary and tertiary parts, while more advanced students can be challenged with solo parts and unique instruments like the soprano cornet, flugelhorn, and Eb tuba. College mentors can help from within the section, lead occasional sectionals, and even conduct a warmup. Low brass students can either play music in bass clef, or take the challenge of learning treble clef like the adult brass bands.

Rehearsals are Sunday evenings from 4:30-6:30 pm January to April at Northwest Christian Church in Upper Arlington.

This ensemble is a pay as you're able ensemble. Please know that if the whole band fee doesn't fit into your family budget, we still want you here! Feel free to register by inputting an amount that fits better into your budget at registration or skip payment entirely if needed. You belong here, regardless of your financial situation.

DYBB Polos are available for purchase through this website and in-person once you get to rehearsal. Unfortunately, it looks like you'll have to check out separately for polos.
