Spoons of Salt: Helping the Chronic Illness Community

Spoons of Salt is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing support, advocacy, and awareness for individuals living with chronic invisible illnesses in Cherokee County, GA, and the North Atlanta metro area. We serve those with conditions like Dysautonomia (POTS/IST), ME/CFS, Long COVID, Lyme & Bartonella, Crohn's & Colitis, fibromyalgia, autoimmune diseases, hypermobility, and connective tissue disorders.

We offer several types of support to our members:

In-Person Meetups: We host local gatherings where members can share their experiences, offer advice, and connect with others who truly understand the unique challenges of living with a chronic illness.
Online Community: Our active Facebook group provides a safe space for members to find online support and have their voices heard.
Free Supplies Program: We distribute a variety of items to members at no cost, including clothing, mobility devices, joint braces, toiletries, and medication organizers.

To continue providing these essential supplies to our community, we need to cover our storage unit fees for the next year. Meeting this goal is crucial—it ensures we can keep all donated items safe and ready for those who need them most.
