Just a few minutes ago, we received a call from an officer and ACO from a small town in the valley of South Texas.  They had gotten word of cries coming from a deserted home — a house with no electricity, no water, a fallen-in roof, and silence all around except for the faint, desperate sounds of dogs.

When they arrived, what they found was absolutely heartbreaking. 💔

Inside this condemned home were at least five extremely emaciated dogs, left behind in filthy wire crates. No food. No water. No light. Just broken bodies and broken spirits. One was so desperate for moisture that it was drinking its own urine.

Despite everything, they are still alive. They are still fighting.
These dogs are standing — barely — but their bodies tell the story of unimaginable suffering and neglect.

We have stepped up to help, but we cannot do this alone. These dogs need immediate veterinary care, IV fluids, specialized nutrition, and long-term rehabilitation.
