HERSTORY THROUGH SONG
The classical art song performance, ‘HerStory Through Song’, is a curated dedication to the contributions and legacy of black female composers (in honor of Women’s History Month) by CANtemporary Artist in Residence, Denise Nicole Battle.
‘Her Story Through Song’ is serving as a fundraiser for Tidewater Area Musicians (TAM), a local chapter of the National Association of Negro Musicians (NANM).
