Stand Together: Fill the Food Pantry!
π URGENT: Help Feed Our Community π₯«
With the government shutdown continuing,Β SNAP and WIC benefits will stop starting November 1st, and thousands of Kentuckians will soon struggle to put food on the table.
-
Over 600,000 people in Kentucky rely on SNAP β including 85,000 right here in Louisville.
-
More than 100,000 in Kentucky receive WIC, including 14,000 in Louisville.
-
That means moms without baby formula and families and seniors without access to basic food.
At the same time, Exodus Family Ministries has already lost 6,000 pounds of federally sourced food every month due to program cuts β just as the number of people facing food insecurity has surged 48%.
-
Itβs now 1 in 7 adults and 1 in 5 children in Kentucky who donβt know where their next meal will come from.
Many are having to choose between medicine or food, rent or food, utilities or food.
The truth is β the answer is you. β€οΈ
We need our churches, businesses, organizations, and neighbors to come together right now to help.
