Summer Camp Access Fund

Because everyone deserves a relationship with the natural world, and community is stronger when diverse groups learn and play together, Kestrel is committed to removing barriers to attending our programs. We try very hard to never have to turn anyone away for inability to pay, and we usually succeed. Last summer, we had an access fund, and we were able to give waivers to everyone in need who requested them; 10% of our campers.

Our access fund is now depleted, and we would love to restore it so that we can once again welcome everyone who would like to attend camp. We keep our fees intentionally affordable compared to most area camps, but we know that some families may still struggle to pay them. If you're able to contribute to restore our access fund, you will be helping a child/children have a week surrounded by the natural world and new friends. Our goal for this year is to raise $2,000 for the access fund. Any contribution helps.
