Giving Tuesday is a global movement of generosity held each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving—intentionally positioned as the counterbalance to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. While the world spends the weekend focused on buying, Giving Tuesday shifts our attention back to what truly matters: community, compassion, and investing in people.
For the New Mexico Reentry Center (NMRC), this day isn’t just a fundraising moment—it’s a direct call to reinforce the safety net that justice-involved individuals rely on as they work to rebuild their lives. As temperatures drop across New Mexico, the needs rise sharply. Our clients face real barriers to stability: warm clothing, basic necessities, transportation, safe housing, and support services that keep them anchored through winter.
On this Giving Tuesday, we’re inviting our community to stand with us and ensure no one goes without the essentials that protect dignity and survival. Your support fuels second chances—and strengthens the pathway home for hundreds of New Mexicans navigating reentry and recovery.
