This evening is a salute to 250 years of Marine Corps excellence and the continued strength and sacrifice of all who serve. We invite you—veterans, active-duty service members, families, and community supporters—to be part of this historic celebration.

💙 Our Mission: The American Hero Initiative

While this night is about celebrating Marine Corps legacy, it also shines a light on the work of The American Hero Initiative—a nonprofit founded by Maria Phillips and her husband, Larry Phillips, a disabled veteran.

Our mission is to empower disabled veterans by providing financial assistance for critical home and auto repairs. From broken ramps to failed transmissions, we aim to remove the everyday obstacles that threaten a veteran’s safety, independence, and dignity.

We’re in the early stages of building this foundation, with grant applications in progress and strong community support behind us. The silent auction proceeds from this event will help launch our first wave of impact and enable future partnerships with veteran organizations like the VFW and American Legion.
