Luna, the emaciated pup from Wilton

This pup was walking down the road near the intersection of Thayer and 110th Avenue outside of Wilton. Lucky for her, she was spotted by a very kind young man named Marshall, who immediately called his Dad (ITAV Friend and Volunteer, Jeremy Neuzil) to find out what he could do to help. Marshall got her food and looked after her until Jeremy got home, and could get her to our shelter.

We are running tests on the pup to see if there is a physiological reason for her condition. Whatever the cause, we will get her the care she needs. If you have any information on this pup, please reach out to us!

Jeremy told us that Marshall thought Luna was a good name for this sweet girl, so Luna is what we shall call her. Thank you, Marshall and Jeremy, for helping this pup, who likely would not have survived without you.

If you are able to contribute to her care, donations are always appreciated!  It is because of your generosity that we are always able to assist in emergency situations, such as this.
