I have loved baseball since I could hold a ball. My mom and dad tell me stories of me pitching the ball to them and making them hit over and over when I was two years old. I never went anywhere without my ball and glove. In fact, I still don’t. My love for baseball hasn’t wavered, even a little… except, now my mom doesn’t dare to hit the pitches I throw. In fact, it’s grown into a lifelong goal to play the best I can for as long as I can. Last year I joined a tournament baseball team called the Diamond Dawgs. On this team I’ve gained the kind of friendships I hope will last my lifetime. Not only do we all LOVE baseball, and we’re pretty good at it 😉, but we care about each other, our families and community. We hold each other to a high standard of integrity, sportsmanship and we work very hard. In the rainy PNW it’s hard to practice baseball as much as a high level player needs. We need an indoor facility. Our coaches and families are currently working hard to convert a warehouse into a useable facility for our growing club. It’s expensive and we need help.
