The Laird Academy is a ballroom dance education organization dedicated to preparing children not only to perform on stage, but to thrive in life. Through our curriculum, students cultivate confidence, discipline, and elegance. The program is inspired by the classical British ballroom dance tradition.

Weekly ballroom dance classes where children learn the steps and techniques of dances such as the Cha Cha, Waltz, Foxtrot, Jive, among others—culminating in a final performance for the school community.

Schedule:

Two 45-minute classes per week

Mondays

3-3:45 pm (7-11 y.o.)

Wednesdays:

3-3:45 pm (7-11 y.o.)

Program Outcomes:

Students practice partner rotation, learning to dance with everyone.
Students rehearse choreography and formations, culminating in a performance for the school community — ultimately preparing children to thrive on the stage of life.
Emphasis is placed on mutual respect, teamwork, social grace, and confidence-building.
