Fundraiser for the Creator of Harrison Happenings

As many of you know the Creator of Harrison Happenings was diagnosed with NET cancer on December 4, 2019. Due to the size and position of the tumor, she underwent a major surgery to remove her entire stomach, 16 lymph nodes, omentum, and parts of her intestines on June 25, 2020. Due to several complications from the surgery she has been in and out of the hospital.

The most recent hospitalization on September 13th had her listed as "Failure to Thrive" due to her inability to tolerate eating and drinking without being in pain or vomiting. She became so dehydrated and malnourished, they placed a Total parenteral nutrition (TPN) in her upper arm.  This is a method of feeding that bypasses the gastrointestinal tract. Fluids are given into a vein to provide most of the nutrients the body needs. The method is used when a person cannot or should not receive feedings or fluids by mouth.

Unfortunately, after insurance it is costing her $89.06 a day for each infusions. The total cost for a month is $2,671.80. The hope is that she will only require a month or two of infusions but she could have it up to six months.

We have set up this fundraiser to help with the cost of her TPN for at least one month since her medical bills are outrageous already. There is a checking account set up at 5/3rd for those wanting to make a cash/check
