Our poor, sweet foster Charli was hit by a car two nights ago. She unfortunately was not leashed, and bolted when she saw something exciting as any dog would. Luckily, she was found by someone the next day and we were able to bring her to the vet where they confirmed it definitely looked like she was struck in the mouth by a vehicle. Amazingly, she only suffered two broken teeth and was a little banged up, but otherwise okay! No broken bones or internal bleeding. She was wagging the whole time and even cried when the doctor left. We are thankful she is okay. Unfortunately, the vet bill was a little short of $1k. To keep our small rescue running and save dogs like Charli, we need help through donations from our amazing supporters.
