Add to Calendar 2024-10-21 19:15:51 2024-10-21 20:30:12 America/Los_Angeles Shadow & Light: Fundraiser + Awareness Event for Whole Women Link So often, we resist embracing our “shadow” parts of Self—those aspects we hide away, disown, and avoid because of the emotions we don’t want to feel or don’t feel space to feel. Yet, what we resist is exactly what persists in our lives. What if you could safely and compassionately acknowledge and accept all parts of yourself, even the ones you don’t like, in a gentle and understanding way; helping you heal and become more whole. Come experience a beautiful journey of compassionate embodiment of what makes us all human—our shadow and our light. We will learn tools of somatic healing, gentle body-based techniques to help release stress and tension and mindfulness from trauma expert Sommer, and yogic practices with Claire to move energies through your body. This will be a beautiful circle of wholeness, celebrating all parts of ourselves. Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle and journal if it feels right. If you need a yoga mat just let our staff know at the event. :) ***The studio is located at 2413 Highland View Drive, which is located on the property of 2415 Highland View Drive and accessed via a paved driveway on the south side of the property. To maximize onsite parking, we ask that the first individuals who arrive, park below in front of the studio and that those who park in the upper driveway align their vehicles with the garage doors, which will help to maximize the parking space.*** ***Disclaimer: Body-Based Practices and Somatics Event*** This event aims to explore body-based practices, somatic awareness, and holistic well-being.
