As the holiday season approaches we recognize the joy and anticipation for many of those around us, but this excitement is not always the reality for everyone. For many families in the Treasure Valley this time brings greater financial strain and increased worry. For our Black and Brown communities this is true at an even higher rate, and December can often be simply about survival.

In partnership with Inclusive Idaho we are committed to creating 100 Holiday Survival Kits for families in the Treasure Valley to receive just before schools close in December, with an eye toward single parents, BSD Community Schools, and Black and Latinx communities.
We want your help to meet and exceed our goal! If you would like to add to our commitment you can donate directly here.

Each Holiday Survival Kit will include the following:

Local Grocer Gift Card - $200

Treasure Valley YMCA - Family Day Passes

Valley Regional Transit - Bus Passes

Basic Needs Stipend (i.e. utilities) - $150
