Add to Calendar 2024-10-01 18:30:52 2024-10-01 21:00:00 America/Denver 2024 Progressive Vets GOTV Paid Postage Campaign RSVP's: Only if you're attending, please. You are invited to the home of Rich, the Stamp Guy, Lins where we will watch the VP's debate and you will have a chance to support El Paso County Progressive Vets effort to increase voter turnout for our endorsed candidates by focusing on registered democrats, but low propensity voters. How will we do this? By sending these voters a USPS stamp when ballots drop Oct 18. Why do this? In 2022, we showed that giving these voters a stamp increased their voting propensity by 38%! Compared to voters who just got a similar letter encouraging them to vote. Why do this? Less than 42% of newly registered voters reported having a stamp in their home. Why do this? Because no one gets intimidated or catches a disease going to their mail box! Why do this? Because after grassroots efforts CA, OR and WA states got it right when they passed paid postage for all of their statewide voters. If our government won't act like they really want our voters to vote, then we will! Make a donation that makes a difference! We have raised $3,500 to send these voters the encouragement they need to vote. We are 1/3 of the way to our goal thanks to our local Dem Party. The more funds we raise the more progressive minded young financially challenged voters we will reach. Every dime goes to stamps and stationery to reach voters in El Paso County. All else done by volunteers. You can help with that as well! Co-hosted by Adam Gillard and the El Paso County Progressive Vets. Desserts and beverages provided. Time: Tuesday, October 1st 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM Location: 1111 Hill Mesa Ct, Colorado Springs, CO 80905 Call 719-429-6680 if you need assistance. Rich, The Stamp Guy and Adam, Chair, El Paso County Progressive Veterans
