Five years ago, my wife and I created Black Millennial Renaissance, an answer to turn frustration into fascination. 

What started as the largest peaceful protest for Black lives in the Southwest Suburbs has now turned into a mission to build bridges toward collective liberation. 

As we celebrate this milestone, we’re not looking back- we’re leaning forward! 

5 is a symbol of God grace’s and a reminder of the reality of our interdependence. We are believing that  our steps will continue to be ordered and lead us in the right direction. We are so excited for what lies ahead for BMR! 

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who have supported us in this movement. Whether you’ve been here since the marches or you just followed us last month, we are so grateful for you! We have a collective assignment. See you in the work!
