What is SkillsUSA?
SkillsUSA is a national membership association for students and teachers in Connecticut Technical Education (CTE) programs. It provides educational programs, events, and competitions to support CTE students in developing technical, academic, and employability skills. It also promotes a strong sense of community among its members, emphasizing civic responsibility and volunteerism. Through SkillsUSA, students can develop their leadership, teamwork, and communication skills while gaining industry-specific knowledge and technical expertise. This year 13 Platt Tech students won in the SkillsUSA state competition. To compete at the national level in Atlanta, Georgia, we must raise $30,000. To get there, we need your assistance.
