Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving on the first Tuesday in December.

Last year, Giving Tuesday and other donations allowed us to fund new programs which provided artists with business development and other critical services, and flagship events like our Annual Wakanda Winter Wonderland holiday fair and The Black Family Reunion that brings hundreds of families together to celebrate the holidays, Black arts and our community.

Paying It Forward...

This year our goal is to raise $25,000 by 2.28.24. We can't do it without you, and we’re humbly asking for your support by joining us in paying it forward. We "Paid It Forward" over the past three years in so many ways with the help of your generous support. We genuinely appreciate your role in pushing our mission forward. You helped us raise awareness about issues important to our community, educate elders and young people, and purchase backpacks and school supplies for Fillmore students. You helped us and them to thrive!

In the past three years we accomplished a lot with you, our community.

And this year we kicked off the Season of Black Arts a captivating celebration of Black creativity and culture at the Season of Black Art showcase in San Francisco from October 2023 through February 2024.

The Season of Black Art (SOBA) celebrates CommUNITY!...Our Beautiful Blackness, Vibrance, Opulence, and Resilience. The Season of Black Art celebrates the Re-Opening of the African American Art and Culture Complex and the incredible DreamKeepers. SOBA features over 100 artists participating in the African American Art and Culture Complex’s Enterprising Creatives Cohort Initiative. Join us in celebrating the accomplished artists of today and the future. Your donation can support this effort and help create a vibrant and joyous celebration of Blackness.

You can ensure that Black arts, artists and the community continue to grow, bring beauty, and catalyze change by paying it forward with us.
