Our Campaign Mission

Expanding the mobile screening mammogram arm of our core program, Healthy Women Make Healthy Communities. The Mariposa Outreach Campaign directly removes financial, language, and cultural barriers by funding mobile mammograms and providing personalized, hands-on patient navigation for uninsured women across Bexar County. Our Goal is to provide funding for 250+ screening mammograms by July 4, 2027.

Why Your Support Matters

In Bexar County, hundreds of hardworking mothers live near the poverty line without health coverage. For many, a routine screening mammogram is an unreachable luxury, leading to delayed diagnoses and preventable tragedies. ABCF does not just fund a procedure; we hold each woman’s hand through the entire journey. When an uninsured patient enters our mobile unit, she joins the ABCF family, receiving complete educational support and treatment navigation.

Campaign Pillars

1. Mobile Unit Deployments: Partnering with University Health to bring state-of-the-art mobile mammography buses directly to community centers, churches, and local workplaces.

2. Flagship Community Health Fair: Hosting a major health fair at The Neighborhood Place on February 13, 2027, providing bilingual education and screening access.

3. Complete Patient Navigation: Ensuring zero cost to patients and delivering culturally sensitive, one-on-one care coordination following every screening.
