My name is Laura Gilmore and I'm a rainbow Zebra! I am a full multiple compression patient as I suffered from MALS, SMAS, NCS, PCS, MTS, and IVCC. I am a big part of the MALS and SMAS communities. While also fighting for multiple compression patients to get the recognition they deserve within the community. When I was diagnosed almost 10 years ago I was told I was a statistic impossibility. My doctor wasn’t even sure if I could get my surgery approved to treat all my compressions at once. Luckily I got the okay and became the first documented surgery for MALS, SMAS, NCS, and PCS in the United States. Since then I have been advocating for her fellow warriors.
