Becoming a volunteer can be incredibly gratifying work, both for the person offering their support and the organizations they work with and getting people access to their abortions relies on thousands of volunteers to make care reality.

However, it can sometimes be hard to know where to start. With so many organizations offering so many different kinds of services, it can often mean hours of researching and applying before finding the right fit.

This is what we’re trying to simplify with the Abortion Mobilization Project.

Our goal is to create a one-stop-shop that will share open opportunities across the abortion access movement and help people figure out the one that would be best for them. In order to do that, though, we need your support.

Your gift will help fund a year-long experiment to determine the best way to fill the gap between people who want to volunteer and the organizations who rely on their support. This includes surveying partners to ensure movement buy-in, creating a tool to connect potential volunteers with organizations that best match their interests and personalities, and building out website content.
