#GivingTuesday Equine Assisted Services

A Broken Spur Riding Academy empowers and enhances individuals with disabilities and individuals with special needs whether physical, cognitive, social, emotional, or psychological. Additionally, we serve able bodied individuals, troubled youth and Veterans. We provide community based equine programs to create more active, healthy, and fulfilling lives and to create bonds between horses and humans with mounted and unmounted Equine Assisted Services one stride at a time.

ABS Riding Academy is a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of our clients. Horses are incredible partners with a unique ability to help humans regulate their heart and respiratory rates. Horses are also honest, non-judgmental, live totally in the moment and have no preconceived ideas about anyone. Our staff are dedicated to helping people learn, grow and heal through equine assisted services.

Your donations will greatly help us in our goals to provide scholarship funding to some of our students, go directly towards ​operations such as lease, liability insurance, herd management and equine care, assisting us with growing our community involvement, helping fund an indoor arena heating system for our student, horses and instructors for our winter sessions and so much more! This will help us ensure our community is continued to be served with our programs in 2024. So far in 2023 we have served over 150 individuals and hope to grow our impact!
