ACAC is a community-led initiative supporting caregivers and their animal companions by sharing resources, reducing barriers and strengthening care networks. We recognize the gap of accessibility to our disabled, elderly, low-income and homeless neighbors and work to meet them where they are with compassion and collaboration. We believe in the importance of the human animal bond and keeping families together - especially during difficult times or unexpected hardships.

This Community Care Fund is the next big step our organization needs to meet the consistent demand from our neighbors and sustain our growing community partnerships. We always empower our clients to advocate for their animal companions and ask for exactly what they need. Our most frequent requests are for specific brands of dog or cat food and bulk supplies of kibble and wet food for weekly distribution events. This fund will allow us to directly purchase and deliver food and supplies to our neighbors and who may not be able to easily access other means of assistance.
