This holiday season, ACAP Chicago is calling on you to support the families of Jablanica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, who are reeling from the effects of unprecedented flooding. Together, we can bring them hope and relief during this critical time.

What Happened in Jablanica
In early October, Jablanica and other parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina were struck by the worst flooding in decades. Torrential rains triggered landslides, destroyed homes, and swept away essential infrastructure. At least 19 lives were lost, with many more people displaced, leaving
families without shelter, food, or basic necessities. These floods have left the community grappling with both physical and emotional devastation as they work to recover from this tragedy .
