Accelerate Impact

NYOTA, Impact Now's leadership program for women, has unleashed the power of women leaders in DRCongo who work to improve their communities.  

Graduates of the 2024 cohort have—

• Facilitated the release of children held captive by militia groups.
• Secured financial aid for survivors of sexual violence.
• Negotiated fair pay and better working conditions for domestic workers.
• Helped women and children settle into safe housing in times of regional violence.

The first NYOTA cohort had a 100% graduation rate! Keep in mind, these women met—

• Face-to-face
• For two—and sometimes three—hours.
• Every Saturday for six months.
• While holding down full-time jobs and maintaining households.

During the month of March, Women's History Month, you can accelerate this impact during the Accelerate Impact campaign. 

The goal: completely cover the cost of the next Women's Leadership cohort of 25.

Why? Because it's a proven fact that NYOTA makes a difference in the lives of the women who participate, and in the lives of so many others!
