ACN provides a "local" solution to the orphan crisis in Ethiopia. We are mobilizing and equipping individuals and organizations in Ethiopia through training, financial support, and other resources to increase their effectiveness in addressing the needs of vulnerable children. With the recently signed formal agreement between ACN, the Ministry of Women/Social Affairs and the Agency for Civil Society in Ethiopia, all seven of our community-based programs will be launched nationwide with 5 million local volunteers mobilized over the next five year as part of an incredible scale up plan to serve 5 million orphans and vulnerable families in all regions of Ethiopia. This exciting development has the potential to impact generations. And it wouldn’t be possible without the support of generous donors like you!
