This holiday season, Friends of Lead the Way is proud to support the incredible individuals we serve—adults with developmental disabilities—and their children. The families in our community work hard every day to overcome obstacles, stay stable in their housing, and build lives filled with dignity, purpose, and joy.

To make this Christmas a little brighter, we asked each family to share a small, heartfelt wishlist. Some items are essentials. Others are simple joys. All of them represent hope for a meaningful holiday.

We invite you to join us in spreading warmth and generosity by adopting a friend or contributing funds toward their wishlist.

Why This Matters

Many of the adults we serve are navigating life with developmental disabilities while raising children on very limited resources. The holidays can be an especially difficult time. By adopting a family or donating, you are giving more than a gift—you are providing relief, joy, and the reassurance that they are not alone.

Together, we can create a holiday season filled with comfort, dignity, and wonder for families who deserve it deeply.
