Advocacy Training

The National Advocate Certificate Program is a comprehensive 40- hour training designed to equip individuals with the essential knowledge and skills needed to effectively advocate for survivors of gender-based violence. This program is ideal for aspiring advocates, social workers, counselors, and anyone dedicated to supporting victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other forms of abuse. I Am BOLD, LLC is a 40 hour pre-approved curriculum by The National Advocate Certificate Program. Upon completion of the program, graduate will submit their certificate along with of specific criteria to become a Certified Advocate. Trainings will take place at 6:30-9:30 PM The dates will be: August 1st and 15th; September 5th and 19th; October 3rd and 17th; and November7th and 21st. After completing this course, apply for your National Advocate Credential through the NACP : New Provisional Advocate Credential Application; all applicants will need to pay the NACP the following to receive your credentials: Application Fee: $70.00* *Military Application Fee: $55.00 (discount applies to all military victim advocates and civilian advocates providing advocacy services at or for any military installation).
