Agape Sober Homes Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization operating highly structured, top-tier sober living environments. To clarify our story and operational model: we are not a homeless shelter or a drop-in center. The vast majority of our residents are highly motivated individuals who pay regular housing fees—either independently through employment or via specialized recovery scholarships. They come to Agape because they desire a high standard of sober living, strict daily accountability, and a powerful network of peers dedicated to long-term success.
Our Charitable Core: Standing by Those with Nothing
Because we operate as a true charity, we know that the road to recovery is rarely a straight line. When a person possesses a genuine willingness to stay clean but arrives at our doorstep at an absolute breaking point—with zero financial resources, no family support, and no immediate funding — Our foundational mission is to ensure that a lack of money is never the reason a door to recovery is closed.
When a resident arrives with literally nothing in their hands—no money for housing fees, no spare clothes, and sometimes not even a valid ID to prove who they are—our doors still open. We refuse to turn them away. We immediately step in to provide them with a safe, warm bed, personal hygiene kits, clean bedding, and laundry materials. We then provide hands-on staff guidance to help them navigate broken systems, apply for medical insurance, obtain legal identification, and secure stable employment so they can quickly transition into self-sustaining, proud, and fee-paying members of our recovery community.
Our Immediate Need
To maintain our high operational standards and fulfill our mission to never refuse someone who arrives with nothing on hand, we must rely on the heartbeat of our community partners.
We are seeking general donations to help cover our core expenses, which directly fund:
Housing Stabilization & Utilities: Keeping our properties warm, secure, clean, and fully operational against rising overhead costs.
Essential Daily Intake Supplies: Ensuring we always have the food, clothing, hygiene products, and bedding ready for those who arrive with nothing.
Community Re-integration Resources: Funding the day-to-day staff operations, administrative tools, and guidance required to help people stay clean, obtain legal IDs, secure healthcare, and find employment.
