Ahmed was a deeply loved member of the Neighborhood Centers community, and his connection to our programs began when he was just four years old. He grew up in our preschool and after-school programs, where staff, teachers, friends, and neighbors had the privilege of watching him learn, grow, and become part of the fabric of our community.

Ahmed’s family has deep roots with Neighborhood Centers as well. His mother works in our programs, his father is an important member of the community, and their children have grown up, and continue to grow up, in our programs.

With the support of Ahmed’s family, Neighborhood Centers is creating two lasting ways to honor his memory: a memorial bench at Pheasant Ridge and a scholarship fund established in his name.

Neighborhood Centers has committed the first $1,000 toward this effort. We invite our community to join us in honoring Ahmed’s life and helping create a legacy that will continue to support and inspire others.

Funds raised will support the memorial bench, related costs, and the Ahmed Osman Scholarship Fund. Ahmed’s family will remain part of the process as these memorials take shape.

Thank you for helping us remember Ahmed and surround his family with the care of our community.
